Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair win tag team titles

An early career crowning achievement for Cargill in France.

It took some time for Jade Cargill to establish herself in WWE, what with a prolonged tour of every brand upon her arrival and repeated teases of where she would end up. Her destination ended up being Friday Night SmackDown and a pairing with one of the top stars of the women’s division, Bianca Belair.

It took very little time for the two of them to establish themselves as top contenders to the women’s tag team titles. It helped, of course, that Belair has long had issues with Damage CTRL and has said she is eager to put them behind her. That would start with taking the titles from The Kabuki Warriors.

It would also be one hell of a way to really put Cargill on the map.

Consider it done.

Cargill was put in the role of hot tag late in the match, and while she started off hot things cooled off and there were some rough spots, like confusion over who was even legal in the match. They kept the crowd in it, however, and the finish was a great deal of fun, with Cargill hitting Jaded and Belair hitting the Kiss of Death to give them the pinfall and make them new women’s tag team champions.
