ìTiger Woods absent from 1st month of event

on

After the thunderous debut of his former friend from the St Laurent Golf Team, Matthieu Pavon, it is the turn of Victor Perez to officially enter the fray on the PGA Tour in 2024.

Injured in the shoulder during the off-season, the French number 1 missed two events that he had initially ticked off. The Sony Open in Hawaii last week and The Amex which is currently being played at La Quinta.

This Friday evening, the last day of registrations on the PGA Tour, Perez appears on the entry list with his two other compatriots Paul Barjon and Matthieu Pavon.

Tiger Woods, results

The three French members of the American circuit in 2024 will therefore do battle with the two tracks from Torrey Pines to San Diego. The North and South Course.

We hope for good results in San Diego to, why not, enter the field for the 2nd Signature Event of the season, the following week at Pebble Beach.

On the other hand, Tiger Woods, who suggested during his return to the Bahamas that his physical condition could allow him to play one tournament per month in 2024, does not appear in this list.

We will therefore have to wait until mid-February and the Genesis Invitational (3rd Signature Event of the season), the event which he is hosting in Los Angeles, to see the Tiger club in hand again. Maybe with a new shirt in the colors of his new brand

Eldrick Tont Woods, better known as Tiger Woods (Cypress, December 30, 1975), is an American golfer.

Considered by many to be the best golfer of all time,[3] as well as the best of the modern era, in his twenty-year career he won 110 professional tournaments, including 15 majors, making him the most successful player in the history; he held the top position in the OWG world rankings for a total of 683 weeks, of which 281 were consecutive (from June 12, 2005 to October 30, 2010), and is the only golfer to have won all four majors of the modern era within a single year (between 2000 and 2001).

In 2014 he became the first athlete in the world to have exceeded one billion dollars in earnings between victories and sponsors. [5] He was subsequently surpassed by Michael Jordan and his wealth is estimated at 1.8 billion dollars by 2023, making him the second highest paid athlete ever. In 2019, US President Donald Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor of the United States of America.
