It was Carlito all along!

Carlito has kind of always felt like a sort of odd man out in the LWO, even when Santos Escobar was playing that role before he split off to feud with Rey Mysterio and reform Legado del Fantasma with new members. In fact, it seemed like Carlito himself was better suited for that spot and maybe they would go back to it at some point.

It seems that point is now.

Weeks ago, when Dragon Lee was taken out in a backstage attack and therefore forced to be replaced in the WrestleMania 40 tag team match, it seemed odd how it all played out. Escobar maintained his innocence all along, claiming he had nothing to do with it. It seemed obvious even then that Carlito was the guy who perpetrated the attack and hoped to gain from it in the form of replacing Lee.

Then Andrade was put in that spot.

They didn’t go away from the story, though, and we got the big reveal on Friday Night SmackDown this week:

It was Carlito all along, damn it! Damn it all to hell!
