The Merciless is a killstreak category medal which means you can’t earn in the CoD Mobile battle royale mode. As mentioned in the game, the only way to acquire this medal is by scoring 10 consecutive kills without dying in multiplayer maps like Coastal, Crash, Crossfire, and more. However the only caveat is your entire progress will be reset if you fail to maintain your killstreak and you have to start all over again. Just like you, I also thought scoring 10 consecutive kills was a piece of cake but believe me I was wrong.

It took me around seven to eight CoD Mobile matches to score a Merciless Medal. Thankfully, I’ve figured out a few effective tips and tricks through which you can even score this medal in your first match:

• Play in a squad with your friends: To reach a 10-kill streak, form a squad with your friends and work as a team to defeat your enemies.
• Switch to a shotgun for close-range fights: Shotguns are the best option for close-range combats. In the game, select a shotgun and hold a sneaky position to surprise your enemies and continue your kill streak.
• Be careful and defensive: If you’re new to the game, playing defensively is a wise way to avoid getting killed too often and protect your kill streak.

Once you complete the primary objective, you’ll see a confirmation message, “Earned Merciless Medal,” on the top of your screen. Finally, it’s worth noting that you can even earn multiple medals of the same type whenever you meet their respective pre-requisite. So, it’s possible that you’ve already a Merciless Medal but are just unaware of this fact. Make sure to head to the in-game medals section and see if you already have one.
