eSerie A Tim – Hhzers and Virgil in the ultimate showdown

The team from Brianza fielded the Italian player Lucio “Hhzers” Vecchione who came out on top after defeating Francesco “Virgil” Allocca (who represented Fiorentina) in the final. A total of 14 teams fought hard in the competition, with the Final Eight taking place in the last two days to determine the champion.

Thanks to their top two finish, both players have officially earned a spot in the FC Pro World Championship, as well as access to the eChampions League, the virtual competition for the homonymous tournament.

The latter will also feature the participation of Juventus Dsyre with Danilo “Danipitbull” Pinto, and Torino who is represented by Luca “Luconegua” Guarino.

Hellas Verona and Obrun taking a hard loss

The main upset happened in the first round of the Final Eight. Francesco “Obrun” Tagliafierro, who finished in the top four at the 2022 FIFAe World cup, was knocked out by Luconegua. The match ended in a one-sided 7-1 score, eliminating Obrun in an unexpected defeat. In the other first-round matches, Juventus Dsyre prevailed over Genoa with a 6-3 while Fiorentina’s Virgil took down Udinese’s player Gabriel Antonini. The champion Hhzers had an easy victory over Cagliari with a 4-2 score.

The breakdown of the semifinal and Finals

The final four ended up seeing Juventus against Fiorentina. The reigning champion Danipitbull was unable to replicate last year’s run, losing to Virgil with a 2-0 score. In the other semifinal, Monza emerged after a close match between Hhzers and Luconegua.

In the final, Hhzers took immediate control of the first match: five goals scored in the first part of the match already decided the result. Despite Fiorentina’s efforts in trying to come back and the initial 2-0 advantage in the second match, Monza regained control to end the series on a shattering 6-2 finish.

With that, Hhzers and Monza were crowned the Italian champion as the player won the MVP Award and will head to the FC Pro World Championship which will take place in Riyadh later this year.
