Hogs Haven “Final Mocks” Compilation – 2024

Compiled below is a table of the final mock drafts of the 2024 offseason from those Hogs Haven writers who have put them together. It includes information from:

This is more for posterity than anything else, but it’s interesting to see how each of the drafts align. Last year’s mocks can be found here. Unfortunately, none of us got more than one pick right (two nailed Quan Martin, one hit on Ricky Stromberg).

All four drafts involved taking QBs in the first round, though three different QBs were taken. All four drafts also involved taking a tackle with one of their top two selections.

All four of the drafts involved taking a wide receiver before the fourth round and tight end at some point. Only one draft included a running back, but three drafts double-dipped at offensive tackle.

Drake Maye, Xavier Legette, Ben Sinnott, and Brandon Coleman were also each taken in two of the drafts.

Curious to see how last year’s mock lined up with where players were actually picked, it looks like at least three of us underestimated how quickly top talent would go (Mark nailed the pick of Stromberg exactly) – though we managed to get very good value in our mocks. It will be interesting if the results are similar this year.
