How do you think the Cowboys did on Day 1 of the NFL Draft?

The Dallas Cowboys have made their selection in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. They didn’t pick at 24 where they were originally scheduled. Instead, they traded back with the Detroit Lions and picked up an extra third-round pick, number 73 overall.

When they finally got on the board at pick 29, they chose offensive tackle Tyler Guyton out of Oklahoma. Guyton has been a name associated with the Cowboys at pick 24 the moment Tyron Smith left in free agency. We’ll see if the plan is to flip him to the left side or not, but at the moment it seems reasonable that they would try it.

Many were disappointed that the Cowboys didn’t take Graham Barton at 24, and he didn’t last until 29, but it feels like the Cowboys were hoping one of those two would make it to 29 which Guyton did.
