The reacts survey results are in, and Colts fans believe the franchise will take a certain talented Toledo cornerback.

The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off tonight at 8 PM EST, and the Indianapolis Colts are currently set to select their newest member with the 15th overall pick.

While the Colts have a number of key needs, including at cornerback, wide receiver, tight end, safety, and edge rush, nearly half of the Horseshoe faithful (47%) believe that the team will ultimately end up selecting a cornerback to help shore up their depleted secondary:

While there are some talented early options including Alabama’s Terrion Arnold, almost a quarter of Colts fans (23%) believe that the franchise will ultimately select talented Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell:

No one knows exactly what the Colts may do for sure—maybe not even Indianapolis, depending on how their draft board falls, or if potential trade partners later emerge.

There’s been speculation that the Colts could surprisingly trade up, which would be a bit unusual for general manager Chris Ballard, who normally likes to accumulate more draft picks—not less. That could possibly be for a top cornerback prospect like Mitchell, but they may not be alone in their interest—as the Philadelphia Eagles also reportedly want to trade up for cornerback help, among other suitors.

With this being all said, Indianapolis could go a lot of different ways this evening, meaning stay tuned, Colts fans! A cornerback would be among the top projected positions for the Colts to address—but there’s a lot of talented prospects within this year’s top half.
