Last month, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega earned a guaranteed shot at the AEW world tag team titles by defeating the Young Bucks at Full Gear.
The title match of Ricky Starks & Big Bill vs. The Golden Jets was originally booked for Saturday night’s (Dec. 30) Worlds End pay-per-view, but the match was called off after Omega was hospitalized with diverticulitis. As a result, Chris needed to find a new tag team partner to chase the gold with.
On tonight’s (Dec. 29) episode of Rampage, Jericho found his replacement for Omega by reuniting Le Sex Gods with Sammy Guevara:
Can Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara get on the same page before their HUGE 8-Man Tag Team Match TOMORROW at #AEWWorldsEnd?

Sammy and Chris exchanged apologies for the way they’ve treated each other in recent months and hugged it out to make the reunion official. That means at some point in early 2024, Chris and Sammy will get their tag team title shot at Big and Ricky.
Do you think Le Sex Gods will bring home AEW tag team gold in the new year, Cagesiders?
