Taylor-Britt is back on the 53-man roster and set to play in Bengals vs. Chiefs.

The Cincinnati Bengals have returned cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt to the active roster from the injured reserve list, the team announced Friday.

Taylor-Britt had been on IR since December 4th with an ankle injury suffered in practice. He was designated for return from IR and cleared to practice on Wednesday.

Since then, Taylor-Britt has been a full participant in practice and is not on the final injury report, so he will be playing in Week 17 vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

It can’t be overstated how big this is for a Bengals defense that has been getting gashed for big plays. Taylor-Britt has been easily one of the team’s best defenders and arguably its best defensive back, so it’s huge to get him back ahead of facing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense.

Let’s hope this is the spark this team needs to win out and make it to the NFL Playoffs.
