Lots of positive reactions for Sean Payton and George Paton’s draft.
Days 2 and 3 of the NFL Draft proved to be a haul for the Denver Broncos who came away with strong players filling some important holes on the roster.
After mixed fan reactions Thursday night on Twitter following the Bo Nix pick, it was like the positive vibes just started building throughout the weekend.

Sitting out the second round with no picks, the Broncos grabbed Utah edge rusher Jonah Elliss early in the third round and then traded up with the Seahawks so they could grab Oregon wideout Troy Franklin – and favorite target of Bo Nix last season.
With their next picks the Broncos added Missouri cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine followed by Notre Dame running back Audric Estimé.
And then the Broncos announced a trade with the Jets in what was perhaps the biggest steal of the weekend. For a sixth-round pick in two years, the Jets handed over defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers.
What’s your favorite move the Broncos have made so far in the draft?
– Bo Nix
– Jonah Elliss
– Troy Franklin
– Kris Abrams-Draine
– Audric Estimé

It even seemed like the non-believers in Broncos Country started coming around on Bo Nix as Sean Payton added weapons to the offense.
But if you were a non-believer Thursday, that’s OK.
Elliss, Franklin, Abrams-Draine, Estimé and Franklin-Myers are here to set you straight.
“God bless Bo Nix.”

Troy Franklin to the Broncos is PERFECT. Give Bo Nix the WR he KNOWS. Helps them grow together and Bo knows how to get the best out of him. SMART SMART SMART by the @Broncos

Denver drafts at Audric Estime 147
He is MASSIVE for a RB. Reminds me of Javonte, in terms of the power he runs with. Nearly 225lbs & Matt Miller believes he can be really good
“A perfect zone RB,” Miller said and reiterated that he is a starting caliber RB

Audric Estime is going to be Sean Payton’s version of Mark Ingram/Chris Ivory in this offense. Absolute hammer with good vision. Only 20 years old. A lot of potential here. This is a fantastic pick for the #Broncos!

“When it’s early in the game & I want to send a message, I’m going to run right through your face.”

The Broncos draft CB Kris Abrams-Draine at 145
His agility is off the charts and ran a 4.44 in the 40. PFF gave him a 99 grade at outside CB coverage and an 88 grade in coverage vs single coverage
Seems like Denver got great value here as Field Yates loves the pick for us pic.twitter.com/HAUsig85QQ

“I’m definitely a ball-hawk. I can make secure, wrap-up tackles. I love coming downhill and playing in run support.”

Despite the excitement over the draft picks, Broncos Country might have been most ecstatic about acquiring Franklin-Myers.

Broncos defensive line currently: John Franklin-Myers, Zach Allen, D.J. Jones, and Malcolm Roach.
That’s a much better looking unit than we had last year.
