Best Sniper in CoD Mobile: Which one should you use?

on

Sniping has always been an integral part of CoD Mobile, which is why many players are always on the lookout for the best sniper in the game. However, with so many weapons and attachments to choose from, figuring out the best snipers is a tedious task, especially for those who are just getting started. Therefore, we’ve got you covered with a detailed rundown of the top 5 snipers that can give you an edge in your next CoD Mobile match.

Best Sniper in CoD Mobile: Ranking the Top 5

5. HDR

COD Mobile HDR

At the fifth spot, we have the HDR. It’s a slow and steady sniper that can one-shot from head to toe in close to mid-range. Although it has the slowest ADS time of all the snipers at 408 milliseconds, this is not a sniper we want to use for rushing. In case you don’t know, it has 6 seconds of breath-hold time, which is very useful for hard scoping. Therefore, we highly recommend taking a sneaky position with the HDR in your hands.

As we said earlier, it can one-shot all over the body in close to mid-range, but it drops to 45 meters. So, make sure to pair it with a shotgun like the Argus for an optimal loadout. For the rest of the interesting stats on this sniper, it has a pretty low flinch at 1.56, seven bullets, and it can still one-shot through wood and concrete in the head, chest, arms, and stomach. It is a pretty good sniper for a passive play style, considering the overall stats. But if you decide to use it for rushing, we highly recommend you use the amped perk with a knife because the fire interval is super long.

4. Locus

COD Mobile Locus

Locus is by far the best CoD Mobile sniper for quick scoping. It has 345 milliseconds of ADS time, which is fairly quick when compared to other sniper rifles available in the game. Its magazine can hold eight bullets at a time without any attachments and boasts a really nice fire rate of 60 RPM, giving us exactly 1 second of fire interval.

However, the only caveat is that it can’t be regarded as a one-shot sniper because of the low damage. But for aggressive sniping, thanks to the mobility and the fire rate, you can definitely use it. If you want to use it in SND, it is probably not the best choice, with one of the highest flinches in the game at 4.8. The breath hold time is only two seconds long, and the one-shot consistency is obviously worse than usual snipers.

3. Koshka

Koshka

The Koshka, despite not having the best ADS time in this list, still manages to secure the third position due to several factors. One of the most crucial aspects that makes it super strong and special compared to the others is that it can blank scope super early. That means that the ADS time does not really matter since you can shoot accurately when you are about 230 milliseconds into the ADS animation.

The fire rate is also impressive, with about 1.2 seconds of fire interval, which is not particularly fast, but it’s decent. And the hitbox is DLQ-like, with the one-shot hitbox being the head, chest, arms, and stomach, which can help you to climb the rank ladder. So, if you want to use a suppressor for SND, you have to sacrifice either the ADS speed or the blank scope accuracy, which would, in both cases, make it pretty bad.

2. DLQ

DLQ

We have decided to rank everyone’s favorite, DLQ, at number second – here’s why. When it comes to the stats, DLQ has 369 milliseconds of ADS time with good animation and a good blank scope accuracy. You also get a decent fire rate with 1.2 seconds of fire interval, exactly like the Koshka. With impressive one-shot kill capabilities, DLQ stands as one of the best snipers in CoD Mobile, which boasts amazing stats coupled with an eight-round mag and a suppressor.

For the negative points, it has quite a high flinch with 4.2. You can use it whether you want to snipe in SND or in Hardpoint. It’s also beginner-friendly, thanks to the nice hitbox and overall good stats.

1. Tundra: the best sniper in CoD Mobile

Tundra

Tundra is pretty much the most aggressive sniper in the game right now. It has 359 milliseconds of ADS time with a really good blank scope accuracy, even better than the DLQ but still worse than the Koshka. When it comes to the fire rate, it has 924 milliseconds of fire interval, which is super quick, especially since it has a DLQ one-shot hitbox. But the most astonishing factor is that the flinch is as low as 1.43, which is even lower than the HDR, which makes it a super steady sniper.

For the negative side of the Tundra, well, there isn’t much to say. It only has seven bullets, which isn’t that much. And the wallbang capacity with the respawn build isn’t great because you don’t have the tiger team barrel, which harmonizes all the hitboxes, making it able to one shot in the same hitbox as if there wasn’t a wall at any range.
