The Role Model kindly went out of her way to ruin one ringsider’s day and possibly their life.

Iyo Sky may have lost her WWE Women’s Championship, but for one fervent fan in Fort Wayne, IN, she remains their undisputed champion.

Too bad that didn’t sit well with the reigning champ, Bayley.

Just moments before their WrestleMania rematch this past Sunday in the hub of Northeast Indiana, a ringsider’s sign caught Iyo’s eye. It boldly proclaimed, “Iyo Sky My Champ.” Touched by the gesture, Sky left the ring to personally acknowledge her loyal supporter. When Bayley entered the arena, she, too, acknowledged the fan as only The Role Model could.

With a gleam in her eye, Bayley snatched the sign, declaring, “Sorry, it’s for the camera,” before dramatically tearing it in two. The devastated fan hung their head in disappointment. Yet, Bayley, kind soul that she is, offered a brief hug and words of consolation.

“It’s okay to be fans of losers. I still love you,” said Bayley.

If that wasn’t enough to ruin that person’s day, if not their entire life, Bayley retained her championship by defeating Sky with the most devastating move in pro wrestling: the Tiger Driver ‘91 a rollup.

Though Sky came up short in her bid to regain the title, she can rest easy knowing she’s still the champion in at least one person’s heart. And, as the support from her loyal admirer demonstrates, true champions are defined by more than just their wins and losses.

Meh, who am I kidding?

Real champs are defined by their ability to rip up signs and win matches.
