450 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 PHILADELPHIA SUPERCROSS

Last week Jett Lawrence and Cooper Webb were tied headed into the evening’s events. After the race, Jett Lawrence came out on top as the sole holder of the red plate. This weekend the action continues as Cooper Webb sits at a five-point deficit with only three rounds left including tonight. Jett Lawrence has the momentum on his side and has been fast in qualifying all year long, but qualifying just sets the stage for tonight’s racing and anything can happen. Eli Tomac has been becoming faster and faster each weekend and has the potential to disrupt this championship.

450 QUALIFYING RESULTS GROUP A SESSION 1

Malcolm Stewart has been building momentum each week and though only eighth in the first session his time was relevant to the front of the pack.

The 450 class hits the track first today in Philadelphia and the usual suspects went to work early putting in their quick times. Chase Sexton returns this weekend after a bad crash in the main event in Nashville and looks to be feeling healthy. Jett Lawrence was the first to strike, breaking into the 53-second range early though it would not last as Justin Cooper was able to drop into 52 seconds just a couple of laps later. Jason Anderson was able to put himself near the front when he moved into the third position early with a quick time but it would not hold as riders started getting faster and faster. Back in the front, Justin Cooper and Jett Lawrence were swapping the lead position with each other and even Eli Tomac sneaks in with a fast time.

Justin Cooper has been one of the fastest guys in qualifying all year long.

Back after his throttle stuck over a double in Nashville, Chase Sexton appears to be feeling good and ready for racing.
