250 RACE RESULTS // 2024 ANAHEIM 2 SUPERCROSS

Racing is underway for the second and final time in Anaheim for the 2024 Supercross series. Today is a triple crown event so it will consist of three main events rather than the normal heat races followed by an LCQ. Riders like RJ Hampshire, Jordon Smith, and Julien Beaumer were all quick in qualifying earlier today and looking to be on the top spot of the podium this evening. 250 MAIN EVENT 1

Levi Kitchen was able to get out front early and set the pace for the rest of the field.

Grabbing the holeshot and the early lead was Levi Kitchen followed directly by rider DiFrancesco, Nate Thrasher, and RJ Hampshire. Points leader Jordon Smith was buried in the pack around the fourteenth position. On lap two Jo Shimoda ended up becoming tangled with Jordon Smith and as a result, would end up crashing. However, Levi Kitchen up front put his head down and created about a second gap between him and the pack. Both Nate Thrasher and RJ Hampshire would get around Ryder DiFrancesco and set their sights on the leader ahead. RJ Hampshire would begin to move forward setting up Nate Thrasher over a technical rhythm section and begin gaining ground on Levi Kitchen. Levi Kitchen however would be able to withstand the charge from RJ Hampshire and take the first win of the evening.

Nate Thrasher would put up a hard fight for the second position but was ultimately overcome by RJ Hampshire. 

RJ Hampshire pushed hard but it was ultimately not enough and will have to settle for second.
