The Miami Dolphins have made a trade into the fourth-round trade.

The Miami Dolphins have made their first trade of the 2024 NFL Draft, trading into the fourth round. The team used a 2025 third-round pick to move into the 120th position. The Dolphins are expected to have multiple third-rounds next year when compensatory picks are awarded. The team lost defensive tackle Christian Wilkins and guard Robert Hunt, both of whom should qualify the team for an additional pick in the third round next year.

Miami entered the 2024 draft with six picks, one first-round pick (21st overall), one second-round selection (55th), a fifth-round pick (158th), two sixth-round picks (184th and 198th) and a seventh-round selection (241st). The Dolphins lost their original third-round pick, which would have been 86th overall, as part of the league’s punishment as a result of the investigation into tampering charges in the team’s pursuit of quarterback Tom Brady and coach Sean Payton. The team sent their fourth-round pick, 121st overall, to the Denver Broncos in 2022 as part of the trade that brought Miami linebacker Bradley Chubb.

The team used their first-round pick on Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson, then added Houston tackle Patrick Paul in the second round.
