Could one of these undrafted players make an impact for the Miami Dolphins in 2024?
Every year, as the NFL Draft winds down, the next wave of roster building starts when teams race to sign this year’s crop of undrafted free agents—or, as Jeff Ireland always referred to them, acorns.
Some teams can find undrafted gems, as we’ve seen with our Miami Dolphins. In recent years, the team landed Texas A&M-Commerce cornerback Kader Kohou, who has continued to improve yearly. And let’s not forget household names like Preston Williams and Patrick Laird. There was also a guy by the name of Cameron Wake and two Hall of Famers, Jim Langer and Larry Little.
Now, the next wave of Dolphin hopefuls have started to sign. And while I’m not going to foolishly predict which one of these prospects could make an impact in 2023—like I may have done last season with linebacker Aubrey Miller—I want to look at each player and one highlight that defines who they are.
So, without further ado, here’s a look at the Miami Dolphins’ first wave of undrafted free agents, along with one highlight, clip, or RAS score of each player. #FinsUp

Which undrafted free agent can make the most significant impact at rookie minicamps and potentially earn a spot on the Miami Dolphins practice squad? Do you think Storm Duck will make Miami’s roster? What about Leonard Payne Jr.? Could Hayden Rucci be the next great tight end in the NFL?! Let us know in the comments section below!
