WWE unveiled the full King of the Ring tournament bracket

WWE’s X

The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments got started on Raw last night (May 6), then on the Raw Talk post-show WWE gave us the full bracket for the men.

Even though one bout hasn’t taken place yet (Kofi Kingston & Rey Mysterio’s previously announced first round match will happen at a weekend house show, as will the QotR clash between Shayna Baszler & Zelina Vega), we already knew most of who would be involved from the Raw roster. But this gives us a look at matches coming our way from the SmackDown side, and allows us to see what everyone’s path to winning the crown on May 25’s premium live event in Saudi Arabia could entail…

SmackDown’s first round matches will be:

  • AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
  • Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes
  • LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Tama Tonga

Some of those will happen on the May 10 episode, but it’s not clear which or how many. As evidenced by the move of two Raw-side matches to house shows, WWE just realized they couldn’t put eight matches on a three hour show… so they definitely won’t try to run all of SmackDown’s KotR and QotR first rounders on Friday’s two hour one.

As of this writing, WWE has not given us a full bracket for the women’s tournament, nor a list of entrants from SmackDown.

WWE has announced several second round matches for Raw next Monday (May 13):

  • Ilja Dragunov vs. Jey Uso
  • Gunther vs. the winner of Kingston/Mysterio
  • Lyra Valkyria vs. Zoey Stark
  • IYO SKY vs. the winner of Baszler/Zelina Vega

Let us know who you’ve got winning King of the Ring ‘24 in the comments below… and if you feel confident making a Queen of the Ring pick with limited information, you can give us that too.
