Laurent Blanc reacted to the qualification of OL against Chambéry (3-0), this Saturday, in the Coupe de France. The Lyonnais coach is delighted that Alexandre Lacazette has shown himself to be effective. He regrets that Rayan Cherki does not follow suit.
In a press conference, Laurent Blanc delivered his analysis of the match won by his team against Chambéry. The Rhone coach appreciated the first period, minus the second: “The first period can give some satisfaction, but we were less good after half-time, especially in the use of the ball. But in the Cup, the main thing is to qualify. We don’t win a lot of games, but when you win one 3-0, you have to analyze it, as always, but there are positives.”he told reporters.
“We would like this to happen more often”
Laurent Blanc was delighted that Alexandre Lacazette had regained his efficiency: “Lacazette is happy when we put balls in the box. He is a surface player who has always scored. Our goals were delivered well, but I wish we had more situations like these. When it happens on match day, you have to appreciate it even if you would like it to happen more often.he continued.
