For the first time under Mike McDaniel, the Miami Dolphins made a selection in the first round of an NFL Draft. The team drafted Chop Robinson to provide some pass rush help and become a rotational piece when Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb are fully healthy. If Chubb and Phillips can’t go for the season opener, it is very likely that Robinson would be a day 1 starter. Regardless if he starts or not, Robinson should make an immediate impact on the Dolphins defense with his pass rush skill set.
