The NFL has informed its clubs about a date and time for this year’s schedule release. According to a report by Ben Fisher of Sports Business Journal, the 2024 slate of games will be unveiled at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 15.
It is not yet known whether the league will do special announcements of select games leading up to the primetime event. Given the precedent set last year, however, it would not come as a surprise if international games, the Black Friday Game and a handful of others get unveiled early next week already.
The New England Patriots will keep a close eye on those; there is speculation they might play a game in London this year. Their full list of opponents looks as follows:
Home opponents: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks
Road opponents: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears
As part of the league’s 17-game schedule, the Patriots will play eight games at Gillette Stadium in 2024 and nine — including a potential international contest — on the road.
