When Does Season 9 End?

Season 9 of Overwatch 2 has only just started up. Players have barely had time to get into all of the new features like the brand-new mode, Cosmic Crisis. However, it won’t last forever. Each Overwatch 2 season end date so far has come around 9 weeks after it launched, except the most recent few which have shortened to 8 weeks. Each has had roughly the same uniform length. This makes it pretty simple to keep track of the Overwatch season end dates so we can pretty accurately predict when this one is going to end.

Overwatch 2 Season 9 began on February 13th. This puts the most likely Overwatch 2 Season 9 end date on April 8! This is just an estimate at the moment though. While the OW season start and end dates have been pretty uniform, it could change. Going by past dates we’re looking at around the middle of April. While seasons were 9 weeks long, they shortened to 8 before lengthening it again last season. We’ll have to wait for an official end date though. There is a lot of change coming in early 2024, we could see season lengths change too.

The game is due to cross over into its next season in April 2024. That season in turn will likely be ending in July or August. At least if the Overwatch season end date lines up with all of the past end dates so far.
