After a successful title defense at Super Showdown, WWE champion Kofi Kingston was interviewed by Byron Saxton regarding his next title defense against Dolph Ziggler in a steel cage match at Stomping Grounds. Kingston welcomes facing Ziggler again, claiming that he’s always ready for him.
Is that right? Okay well look…It doesn’t matter if it’s inside a car, inside a boat, inside a box, inside a can of beans…we can be inside a steel cage it’s not going to matter. Look I’m always ready for Dolph, and at Stomping Grounds, it’s on baby.
Saxton would ask Kingston whether or not he was worried about the steel cage stipulation. The champ responded by saying he welcomes new challenges.
Not at all. I’ve had a couple, but what I have done is triumph in the face of adversity. This is an adversity type situation. I’m always about new challenges. Look man…like I keep on saying…I’m trying to be the best WWE champion that I can possibly be. So anything that’s out of the ordinary that’s going to challenge me to be the best…I’m all for it.
