How to Play Haven on VALORANT?

Haven was the first map consisting of three plant sites. It was the only map with this feature until the eventual introduction of Lotus, and it is one of the most extensive ones in the game. Each site on this map has a minimum of two paths for attackers to enter from, helping players add another dimension to their attack when entering the site.

To win on Haven, players must adapt to a different style of play on the attack and defense. Let’s take a look at what these are.

Attack Side

Due to the vast map, there is a high need for a lurker in most cases. Their role is to catch an isolated opponent off guard or create noise to confuse them. If the team wishes to rotate to attack another side, the lurker must ensure the site is straightforward to enter. A classic example is holding an angle near C Long or Garage while the rest of the team is attacking A site. As a lurker, you must also provide information about the defenders’ movements and rotations.

Defense Side

The best playstyle to adapt on the defensive side is the anchor/sniper at C Long. Players must push C for a long time to enter the C site.
