According to Wrestling Inc, NXT superstar Adam Cole’s current contract with WWE is set to expire this August. No word on if the Undisputed Era leader plans on departing from the company, or if the two sides have yet to reach an agreement. Reports are that if he does re-sign, a move up to the main roster is likely.
Cole just passed the one-year mark holding the NXT title, making him the longest reigning champion in the yellow-and-black brand’s history. Cole’s girlfriend, AEW’s Britt Baker, did recently state in a podcast that she hopes he reunites with his former Elite Brothers in AEW.
