Jaxson Riker, who received both good and bad feedback from a controversial tweet, is said to be in hot water with a lot of Superstars backstage.
Although there’s an unwritten rule in the WWE that Superstars cannot criticize other Superstars on social media unless its part of a storyline or feud, Ryker received quite a bit of feedback from both current and former WWE wrestlers over a pro-Trump tweet that had bad timing. According to a source high up in management, Ryker won’t lose his job over this commotion because WWE wouldn’t fire someone specifically for exercising their freedom of speech.
A number of current Superstars did choose to comment on Ryker’s tweet, but there is said to be a number of talent who chose not to respond and are still upset. The exact phrasing was that the locker room is “fuming at him” and that the “tensions are very high.”
The current situation in America plus Ryker’s recent tweet have made it difficult to continue their current gimmick.
