This WORLD-RENOWNED former NXT team is launching a new promotion and making their AEW debut

The Grizzled Young Veterans announced that they are launching a new wrestling promotion called Burning Heart Pro Wrestling. Its inaugural event is scheduled for June 21 in Lieverpool, England.

Here are James Drake and Zack Gibson making their pitch for what Burning Heart Pro Wrestling is all about:

Drake: “Today, it is our privilege to announce the arrival of Burning Heart Pro Wrestling. A new international wrestling promotion run by a committee of top, top international wrestlers.”

Gibson: “It is my pleasure to announce that the first show in Burning Heart Pro Wrestling will take place in my hometown on the 21st of June at the Liverpool Olympia. A venue rich in history that has seen its fair share of blood, sweat, and tears in a city with unrivaled heart. What better place for a company called Burning Heart to show the world exactly what they are about, pro wrestling from the heart.”

Gibson and Drake used to wrestle as The Dyad in WWE NXT under the ring names Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid. They left WWE in October 2023 and have competed in TNA in 2024. Now they are starting their own wrestling promotion, and tickets for the June 21 event can be purchased Monday (April 29) on Burning Heart Pro Wrestling’s web site.
