The dark main event after Friday’s WWE 205 Live episode from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas saw WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt retain over Bryan in a match that went around 5 minutes. The Fiend reportedly defeated Bryan clean under the red lights.
As noted before, the Royal Rumble go-home edition of SmackDown ended with the contract signing for Bryan and The Fiend’s Strap Match at Sunday’s pay-per-view. Wyatt ended up dropping Bryan with a Mandible Claw, beating him with the strap, and then stabbing his own palm with an ink pen. Fiend dug the pen into his own hand and then inked the contract in blood.
