Sources close to the Young Bucks say backstage morale is high following their AEW return

on

The Young Bucks returned to AEW on last night’s (Jan. 10) Homecoming episode of Dynamite. Matt and Nick Jackson showed up with new douche-staches and closed out the night by teasing they will be Sting’s opponents at Revolution on March 3 for his retirement match.

After the show was over, the Young Bucks’ lackey Brandon Cutler joked about backstage morale being so much better in AEW now that the Young Bucks have returned:

I think it’s safe to say the Hardy Boys are not the sources behind this phony rumor.

The Young Bucks took a break from AEW following the Full Gear 2023 pay-per-view in November. At the time, the rumor mill indicated they would come back with “major impact” and repackaged as heels, possibly with Colt Cabana standing by their side.

Sending Sting into retirement with his first AEW loss is certainly one way to make a major impact. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if a mustached-Cabana is eventually added to this story.
