Sami Zayn says the new WWE Intercontinental Champion should be ashamed of themselves.
Sami responded to a WWE On FOX tweet today that asked fans which Superstar should be crowned the next champion with the tournament that begins Friday on SmackDown.
They wrote, “The new Intercontinental Champion should be:____________________________!”
Zayn responded, “Ashamed of themselves.”
As noted, WWE stripped Zayn of the title on Tuesday night because he’s unable to defend it. They also announced the tournament to begin on SmackDown. Zayn has not been at recent WWE TV tapings and word is that he decided not to work during the coronavirus pandemic because of health concerns.
