The NFL schedule could be released soon and once that occurs fans and the Los Angeles Rams will know which weeks they will play their opponents during the upcoming season. Do you have a preference on what you would want LA’s schedule to look like? Probably not but I figured I’d ask! Please comment on whatever you’d like and have a nice Tuesday! Maybe it’s a Taco Tuesday?

Thanks for checking out Turfshowtimes! I think I have used this tweet below before but it fits so we’re tossing it back out there!

Rams News: Building an Ideal Mock 2024 Schedule For Los Angeles (si.com)

“With the NFL schedule release expected to take place very soon, potentially in a few days, the Los Angeles Rams are patiently waiting to see when they will take on opponents. While the team knows who they will be playing this coming season, the weekly matchups aren’t set whatsoever.

Of course, the Rams would love to get a more friendly schedule but sometimes that isn’t always the case. But we have built out what an ideal schedule may look like for the Rams in 2024.”

What Blake Corum’s addition means for Kyren Williams, Rams’ rushing game (foxsports)

“Coach Sean McVay appears to be taking a similar approach this season with the selection of Michigan product Blake Corum in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Rams also signed scatback Boston Scott in free agency.

At 5-foot-8 and 205 pounds, Corum was the workhorse back helping to lead Michigan to the national championship last season. He set school records for rushing touchdowns in a season (27) and career (58). Corum finished with 24 runs of 20-plus yards during his final two seasons at Michigan.“

Ramsdom Fandom: Tyler Davis draft profile (By Ferragamo15 on May 6)

“It is a virtual certainty that 6th round Rams draft pick Tyler Davis won’t be a future NFL Hall of Famer. While he might not be the most talented prospect you’ve ever seen, he does have 2 trivial coincidences pointing in his favor. One, he’s from the same hometown as Warren Sapp. Second, the Rams drafted Davis with the 196th overall selection. Another TD, Terrell Davis, also was the 196th overall selection, a 6th rd pick by the Denver Broncos in 1995.

I couldn’t think of a good NFL comp for Davis. He’s undersized to be an NFL DT. Moreover, he doesn’t have the explosiveness and quickness you’d normally associate with a smaller DT. I wonder if many NFL teams had him graded as an UDFA. The most impressive part of his game is his high football IQ. If he’s going to stick on an NFL roster, he’s going to have to rely on his smarts to make up for his other deficiencies.

Davis’s draft stock took a beating in the final 3 months leading up to the draft. Early in the process, Davis was supposed to be a Day 2 pick. On Sam Teets’s August big board, Davis was the 90th overall prospect, a potential 3rd rd pick, ranked ahead of T’Vondre Sweat (113th) and Ruke Orhorhoro at 117th. Shane Hallam’s August mock draft had Davis as a 3rd rd pick, 94th overall. In early October, Davis was projected as a 3rd rd pick by Hallam, 99th overall. TDN’s big board in October ranked Davis 49th overall, a potential 2nd rd pick.”
