This appointment not only strengthens Woods’ position within the organization, but also that of Jay Monahan, who was chosen as CEO of PGA Tour Enterprises. Along with Woods, other notable players such as Patrick Cantlay, Peter Malnati, Adam Scott, Webb Simpson and Jordan Spieth will be part of the board of directors. Additionally, Joe Ogilvie, a former player who retired from competition in 2014, has been appointed liaison director, bringing a wealth of experience in the professional golf industry.
