Patriots unveil jersey numbers for 2024 draft class, starting with Ja’Lynn Polk in No. 1

New England’s eight selections now have digits.

The names now have numbers.

The New England Patriots announced jersey assignments for the 2024 NFL draft class on Friday as rookie minicamp gets underway at Gillette Stadium.

While former North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye will continue in No. 10, several April selections will start anew in Foxborough. And that starts with a Washington product in No. 1.

From wide receivers Ja’Lynn Polk and Javon Baker in the single digits down to tight end Jaheim Bell from the seventh round, here’s the list of numbers in numerical order:

  • No. 1: WR Ja’Lynn Polk — last in No. 2 at Washington
  • No. 6: WR Javon Baker — last in No. 1 at Central Florida
  • No. 10: QB Drake Maye — last in No. 10 at North Carolina
  • No. 19: QB Joe Milton III — last in No. 7 at Tennessee
  • No. 27: CB Marcellas Dial — last in No. 6 at South Carolina
  • No. 63: G Layden Robinson — last in No. 64 at Texas A&M
  • No. 70: OT Caedan Wallace — last in No. 73 at Penn State
  • No. 88: TE Jaheim Bell — last in No. 6 at Florida State

New England’s incoming class reported to the facility on Thursday. Rookie minicamp now runs from from Friday through Sunday. The introduction includes the organization’s draft picks along with 10 reported undrafted signings and north of 20 tryout players.

The 90-man roster currently includes one opening.
