Sophie McCarthy: I wanted to start by asking you about your process of joining OG. You’ve only joined in November, I think it was, and we’ve already seen some success.

So how was the process of joining OG?

OG Wisper: Yeah, I think I learned a lot until now, I think. I don’t remember exactly how I joined OG, but I don’t know if you know who is Washi but she spoke with Alim, I think. She said “Wisper is looking for a team”, et cetera. I don’t know, the things just happening. Ceb spoke with me one day and say, I want to join OG and try to improve together. And you know who is Ceb.

Sophie McCarthy: Yes, of course! Simple as that then.

OG Wisper: Yes.

Sophie McCarthy: So obviously, you and Ari, you guys joined at the same time. And since that’s happened, we’ve seen you win a couple of qualifiers.

How has your playstyle changed from your last team to playing in OG?

OG Wisper: I think the big difference is because Europe style is faster, I think, than South America. So they make it like, okay, let’s smoke the kill and back to farm for, I don’t know, ten minutes maybe or something like that. And now it’s like, I got level two. Let’s fight every time. You don’t have time to farm for me. It’s more funny.

Sophie McCarthy: There was a little bit of downtime for OG before you’ve really thrown yourselves into competitions lately.

How do you spend that downtime?

OG Wisper: Play Dota. When I don’t play Dota, I feel, like, lost. I don’t know. I wake up every day and just run to the APC and play pubs. If I don’t have, like, desire maybe to play pubs, I play arcades with Ari or someone else. We play Atomic Wars, Overthrow etc.

Do you always play off lane in your pubs or are you playing other roles as well?

OG Wisper: Sometimes I play mid. I like a lot play Tinker or Invoker. I have on my tier list for pubs. When I want grief games, I play Techies mid with Eblade, et cetera.

Sophie McCarthy: The only thing you can get away with in those high level pubs, right? You see a Tinker in my bracket, it’s over. I just wanted to ask you about DreamLeague coming up in a few days. You guys are going to be in Group A. You’ve got Falcons, Gaimin Gladiators and Azure.

If you could pick your first opponent, who would you pick?

OG Wisper: Maybe Heoric. Because I spoke with kaffs. He’s the coach from Heoric and we have a beef. Maybe, but like friends. I played with him in EG last year, so I don’t know, it’s fun. I’m playing with friends, something like that. Because Scofield, Hector, they are also there.

Sophie McCarthy: So a little bit of a friendly rivalry going on there. Okay, so you don’t have a lot of time left to prepare for DreamLeague.

Have you guys been boot camping?

OG Wisper: No, I think I’m playing from my house and the rest from France and because we’re going to bootcamp in the season.

Sophie McCarthy: I just had just one more question for you because we’ve heard that you’re not the only South American player who’s going to be playing an OG at DreamLeague.

How are you preparing with Timado?

OG Wisper: I don’t know. I just woke up one day and I saw Timado in Discord and I was like, what the f*ck is happening? I don’t know. What’s Timado doing there or not? I feel really happy. I decided to play with him again because I played with him in 2017, I think, in Infamous, my first Peruvian team. So I’m really excited to play with Timado again.
