How do fans feel about the Miami Dolphins’ first-round selection of Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson? We asked and you answered.

The Miami Dolphins waited until the 21st pick in last night’s first round of the 2024 NFL Draft to make their opening selection of the three-day process. With that pick, the team added Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson to the roster, giving them a player with a ton of potential and an incredibly high ceiling, but one who may need some coaching and development time to establish himself among the league’s elite fully.

How are Dolphins fans feeling about Miami’s selection of Robinson? Our SB Nation Reacts poll, brought to us by DraftKings Sportsbook, returned last night, asking you to grade Miami’s first-round pick. Do you think Robinson was a great pick for Miami, coming in with an A grade? Was it a waste of a pick and you believe the Dolphins failed in the first round?

According to our results, 27 percent of the fans believe Miami deserved an A, while 44 percent came in with a B rating. That gives the Dolphins a 71 percent approval rating on the selection.

The C grade – essentially seeing it as simply a mediocre pick without any really positive or negative reactions – received 19 percent of the vote, while a D grade picked up six percent of the responses. Four percent of the fans consider the selection a failure.

Miami is back on the clock with the 55th overall pick, the second rounds’ 23 position, when the draft resumes tonight. They do not hold a third pick unless they make a trade of some sort tonight.
