New WWE tag team championship titles unveiled

A new name and new design for the titles A-Town Down Under hold.

Well, they gave R-Truth and The Miz new world tag team titles, complete with a fresh design, on Monday Night Raw this week. You didn’t think they weren’t going to do the same for the tag team titles Austin Theory and Grayson Waller hold, did you?

You’d be wrong if you did.

Indeed, the Paul Levesque Era continued on Friday Night SmackDown this week in Pittsburgh, as the Chief Content Officer of WWE made another appearance for a special unveiling of the new championship belt designs for A-Town Down Under.

The titles will now be known simply as the WWE Tag Team Championship and they are absolutely beautiful:

That’s an easy contender for one of the top designs in the entire company. This also officially does away with titles branded to the show they appear on, which is a much welcome change.
