LoL Empyrean skins – Which champions are featured?
Riot Games often pushes out new skin lines and aspects to make the gaming experience feel refreshing for players. That said, there are times when the devs pick up a successful skin line from the past and add new members to it. This is what is happening to the Empyrean skins: a combination of sci-fi and cyberpunk-ish vibe.
The newest lineup of champions is set to be released during the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2024, the first international tournament of the LoL esports season as the glowing looks and its bright colors will accompany fans throughout the event.
The new champions who will be added to this skin line are:
- Nocturne
- Varus
- Brand
- Malzahar
- Akali
- Kayle (classic and Prestige edition)
This means that six new members will join the lineup of Empyrean skins, which already features 7 champions: Lux, Pyke, Ksante, Jax, Zac, Vex, and Zed.
Release date & pricing
All the six new Empyrean skins are already available on the PBE since 16th April and they will be released officially debut on 1st May alongside the latest update, LoL Patch 14.9, which also features the return of the Arena game mode.
When it comes to the skin prices, the majority of the lineup will be sold at a price of 1350 RP, which corresponds to the Epic skin tier. The only two exceptions are Empyrean Varus Skin, which will cost 1820 RP (Legendary), and the Prestige version of the Kayle Empyrean skin, which can be obtained by earning 2000 event tokens. Below is the price of every champion added to the Empyrean skin line:
- Prestige Empyrean Kayle Skin – 2000 event tokens
- Empyrean Kayle Skin – 1350 RP
- Legendary Empyrean Varus Skin – 1820 RP
- Empyrean Akali Skin – 1350 RP
- Empyrean Malzahar Skin – 1350 RP
- Empyrean Nocturne Skin – 1350 RP
- Empyrean Brand Skin – 1350 RP
