All the TV, radio, and online streaming info you need for Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
The Detroit Lions will host a playoff game for the first time in 30 years this Sunday when they welcome the Los Angeles Rams—one of the hottest teams in the league—into Ford Field for the Wild Card round of the 2023-24 NFL playoffs.
“We know the challenge ahead of us with this opponent,” coach Dan Campbell said of the Rams. “Playing really good football, very efficient on offense. The two receivers and this running back make it go and then obviously, (Rams QB Matthew) Stafford, his ability to see it, throw it, and accurate passer. So, it’ll be challenging. And then defensively, this is a young group, led by obviously (Rams Defensive Coordinator Raheem Morris) the Hall of Famer over there and (Rams DT Aaron) Donald playing at a high level right now. Run and hit, they’re able to get off the field and give the ball back to that offense. So, this will be challenging.”
While the Rams will be a tough obstacle to the next round of the playoffs, the Lions are a team that has consistently fought through adversity and they believe that they are built for this moment. The message coming out of Allen Park all week has been about winning for the city of Detroit and keeping a focus on their goals—which extend beyond just making the playoffs.
“I so badly want to win a game for this city, win a playoff game for this city that hasn’t had one in so long,” Jared Goff told the media this week. “We’ve got a home playoff game for the first time in so long. That’s so much more important than anything personally for me. I want to be a part of this win.”
