The nightmare continues in Turin. Already in a very delicate position in Serie A with a sad 7th place after the sanction of ten points inflicted in the last and the slap received on the lawn of Empoli then the defeat at home against AC Milan, Juventus risks good to know another disappointment. Indeed, according to the latest indiscretions of our Italian colleagues from Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady could lose several more points. According to sources close to the Turin club and the federal prosecutor’s office, the two parties have reached an agreement on the lawsuit relating to accounting fraud, relations with agents and suspicious partnerships with other clubs.
As a result, the trial scheduled for June 15 in the Federal Court has been brought forward to Tuesday morning (from 10:30 a.m.). While the details of this agreement are still unclear at present, two possibilities could be considered. Juventus would initially have a fine which would be accompanied by a further deduction of points (-2?), which could potentially eliminate the Bianconeri from the race for the Europa League and leave them only the Europa League Conference. In the other hypothesis, the Turin club should pay a maximum fine, alone, and therefore without loss of points. A possibility that cannot be ruled out either.
