The Patriots have made their third selection of the 2024 NFL Draft.

After selecting a quarterback and wide receiver with their first two picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots addressed the offensive tackle position in Round 3. With the 68th overall position they brought Penn State’s Caedan Wallace on board.

Wallace, 24, started 40 games during his five-year career with the Nittany Lions — virtually all of them at right tackle.

The 6-foot-5, 314 pounder, who potentially brings tackle/guard versatility to the table and might be a candidate to move over to the left, had several contact points with the Patriots in the pre-draft process. Among them was a 30 visit in early April.

With Wallace in the fold, the Patriots now have selected three players in this year’s draft. They added North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye with the third overall pick in the first round on Thursday, and later brought Washington wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk aboard in the second round.

New England is next scheduled to be on the clock at No. 103 in the fourth round.
