When IEM Dallas 2024 kicks off in just a few days’ time, it will mark the beginning of the 100th-ever IEM event. To celebrate, we wanted to take a look at teams taking part, and put together our IEM Dallas 2024 power rankings. Let’s not waste any time!

IEM Dallas 2024 favorites

It should come as no surprise to learn that MOUZ are our top favorites to win IEM Dallas 2024. Emerging from back-to-back tournament wins at ESL Pro League and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, MOUZ really look to have come of age lately. Questions remain over their ability to deal with pressure on the biggest stages, and IEM Dallas 2024 could be a great test of that.

We also want to talk about Spirit. Barring a Grand Final run at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, this year’s IEM Katowice winners have barely appeared lately. They skipped an invitation for ESL Pro League, so it’ll be good to see them back among top competition. We could see a bit of rust from Spirit, but where there’s donk, there’s hope.

Last of all, let’s talk NAVI. The Major winners didn’t look themselves at ESL Pro League, in the first post-Major event. A couple of weeks later, they’re back on the server at IEM Dallas 2024. There’s no doubt they’re among the favorites, and we expect them to contend for the championship here, but let’s see which version of NAVI show up.

Here are our full CS2 power rankings for all of the teams attending IEM Dallas 2024:

  1. MOUZ
  2. FaZe Clan
  3. Team Spirit
  4. NAVI
  5. Vitality

IEM Dallas 2024 underdogs

Favorites are all well and good, but who are the underdogs of our IEM Dallas 2024 power rankings? First up is G2. They’re not used to being an underdog, but with Stewie2k making his return to stand in for HooXi at the event, they certainly are here. Haters will say G2 shouldn’t even bother turning up with this lineup, but we’re not going to lie – the slim possibility of seeing the Smoke Criminal make it to the big stage in NA one more time makes this all worthwhile.

We’re going to highlight FlyQuest as another big underdog. The Aussies, formerly of Grayhound Gaming, seem to get better every time they step onto the server, and have become a thorn in the side of some top teams in the scene. They’ve had some better practice in EU in recent months, allowing them to improve their game massively. It’s only a matter of time before these close calls turn into some big wins – could that be at IEM Dallas 2024?
