Here’s a man who just had surgery for a torn pec

on

Just a couple of days ago, we learned that Matt Cardona was canceling dates with independent promoters because he suffered a torn pectoral muscle and needed to have surgery to repair the injury.

That surgery happened earlier today and it was a success, as you can see in Cardona’s social media post below:

“Surgery done. The road to recovery starts now. Thanks to all who reached out. Thanks to @ImChelseaGreen for being by my side. Thanks to @DarylOsbahrMD for fixing me. You can’t kill me…I’m already dead.”

The former Zack Ryder has been extremely successful on the independent scene after WWE fired him four years ago. Just in the last month, he made a surprise appearance on AEW Collision to challenge Adam Copeland to a TNT championship match, while also working an angle in the TNA Knockouts division.

Let’s hope his recovery goes smoothly so we can see the Indy God and Deathmatch King back and better than ever towards the end of the year.
