Nothing affects Gavi. While the young player from FC Barcelona saw his contract with the first team canceled by La Liga, the latter does not seem to be affected by this decision. According Mundo Deportivo, nothing will change on the sporting level. The 18-year-old midfielder will play with the same dedication in a Barca shirt. His ambition to win titles with the Catalans still remains intact.
As a reminder of his situation, the Spanish international can continue to evolve with the Blaugrana’s one team, but only with a youth contract. He can therefore not wear number 6 for the moment. The one who was trained at La Masia could even see his release clause drop to 0€ by the end of the season if his contract is not approved. This year, Gavi has truly established itself as one of the mainstays of Xavi’s XI.
