If Liverpool and Manchester United had targeted the former Nantes player at the beginning of January to strengthen themselves, the sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt, Markus Krösche, is however still not of this opinion.
“He is here and should stay for quite a while. He still has a lot of room for development. We are not thinking of saying goodbye to him at all, we are counting on him for this season and for the next ones., Krösche said before the match against Schalke 04 (3-0) on Saturday. As a reminder, the German sporting director had already declared that he did not want to sell his player, “even if an offer of 100 M€ presented itself.”
