First AEW Women’s Champion Crowned

Riho is your first AEW women’s champion.

After a grueling back and forth affair with Nyla Rose, Riho picked up the victory with a running meteora. Fellow women’s division contender Dr. Britt Baker was on commentary during the bout, possibly indicating Riho’s first challenger.

Post match, Michael Nakazawa went to interview Riho, but Rose attacked from behind, delivering a powerbomb. She attempted at taking Riho out with a Death Valley Driver on the apron but Kenny Omega interrupted to chase Rose off.
