The son of Umaga goes all out in Tampa.

As The Bloodline continues to expand within WWE, outside of WWE, Zilla Fatu continues to grow by leaps and bounds. However, he may want to rein in some of those leaps after making an insane dive during a Game Changer Wrestling event in Florida.

Last Friday, the son of Samoan legend Umaga took to the ring at GCW’s Rather You Than Me in Tampa. During a match with independent star John Wayne Murdoch, Fatu attempted a running splash onto Murdoch, who was positioned outside the ring on a table. As Fatu was in mid-dive bomb, Murdoch moved and Fatu crashed hard through two tables. Immediately, the referee swarmed in to check on Fatu, who was twitching on the floor.

Amazingly enough, Fatu would recover from that and go on to defeat Murdoch shortly after in what was Fatu’s first singles match of 2024. Previously, he had been teaming with Jacob Fatu before The Samoan Werewolf signed with WWE. As a team, they were undefeated this year.

Speaking of Jacob Fatu, many were expecting him to make his WWE debut with the Bloodline at Backlash. However, audiences were stunned when Tanga Loa showed up to help Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa defeat Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. Following the latest addition to The Bloodline, the question on everyone’s mind is who’s next to join the Samoan Dynasty?

Zilla Fatu, though a unique option, is still early in his career. Many expect Hikuleo, who is related to Tonga and Loa, to be the next to leave New Japan Pro Wrestling and join his Guerrillas of Destiny brothers in Sikoa’s new Bloodline.

It’s anyone’s guess who might join next, and Zilla Fatu seems like a potential candidate if WWE wants to bolster The Bloodline further. However, until such a decision is made, it might be wise for Zilla to ease up on his high-flying antics in the independent circuit, ensuring his well-being as he aims for a potential spot in the big time.
