Almost a month after his arrival on the gong at Chelsea during the last winter transfer window, Enzo Fernandez is gradually starting to acclimatize to his new club. In an interview with the British newspaper The Guardian, the Argentine world champion looks back on his debut with the Blues. He also spoke about the record amount of his transfer (€121m, the biggest purchase in history for an English club) and asked the London club’s supporters to trust them for the second half of the season.

“These numbers have nothing to do with me”he says about his transfer fee. “It’s part of football. My job is to go out there and give my best. Because we are all heading in the same direction. This is a restructuring of the club. »
