Enzo Amore Addresses Recent Comments Made By Joey Janela on Big Cass

on

Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore (nZo) took to Twitter this week and apparently called out AEW star Joey Janela for recent comments he made about Big Cass (CazXL).

Enzo noted how he’s already addressed the incident he had with Janela at a Blink 182/Lil’ Wayne concert, but he’s disgusted by recent comments Janela made about Cass during a video from Being The Elite.

“I addressed the drunk fantasy portrayal of an altercation already, no one laid a hand on anyone. We saw the tape, but when you speak about a man who’s currently in a rehab in an effort to gain more views, notoriety, & attention. You have 0 class or credibility. I’m disgusted,” Enzo wrote.

It looks like Enzo was referring to recent comments made by Janela on his recent “Wrestlers on the Road Ordering Room Service” episode from Being The Elite, seen above. Janela, who had the recent incident with Enzo at a Blink 182/Lil’ Wayne concert, was discussing the Cass incident that happened at a recent WrestlePro show.

“I went outside for a smoke and I had said ‘Hello’ to the dude earlier and he was like, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ I go out for a smoke and he corners me and then smacks me in the head,” Janela said of Cass (H/T to Wrestling Inc). “It wasn’t like a hard smack but it just caught me off guard. I’m like, ‘What the f*ck is going on here?’

“Then he starts chasing me, ‘Joey, I’m’ coming to kill you!’

“The dude starts chasing me and it’s in the Rahway (NJ) Rec Center. So it looks like an episode of Tom & Jerry where Big Cass is chasing me around the locker room going, ‘I’m going to shoot you! I’m going to kill you!’”

Janela then recalled how Orange Cassidy and others in the locker room were wondering about what was going on. The promoters would go on to put Janela in a different locker room, and then lock the doors because he was legitimately afraid.

Janela said the situation was like a horror movie with Cass searching for him. He said, “I then looked back in the locker room and I see him opening every door and saying, ‘Bad boy, where are you?’ It was like a horror movie.”

Janela also recalled how he was at the Gorilla Position for his match when Cass came for him once again. This is when other wrestlers had to take Cass down.

“I feel bad because I have friends who had substance abuse problems. One of my best friends overdosed so I feel for him,” Janela said. “At the time of it, it was kinda a funny story as this guy tried to kill me and people leaked it on the internet. But the next day I felt like complete shit.”

Janela said he had the chance to press charges on Cass, but he decided not to, even though Cass was saying he had a gun in his car and was threatening to shoot everyone. Janela said he felt bad for Cass and felt like they needed to get him to a hospital because he was dealing with “something crazy.”

Cass would late issue a statement to fans and wrestlers, via Enzo, to apologize and say he was getting help.

Janela has not responded to Enzo’s comments mentioned above, as of this writing. You can see Enzo’s full tweet below:
