Cody Rhodes Files For Slamboree and Superbrawl Trademarks

on

According to PW Insider, AEW superstar and VP Cody Rhodes has filed a trademark on the Slamboree and Superbrawl monikers for AEW’s use. Both titles were used by WCW as pay per view names, with Slamboree running from 1993-2000, and Superbrawl from 1991-2001, which is when the company would eventually be bought out by WWE. Whether Rhodes and AEW plan on using the titles for PPVs, or the title of an episode of Dynamite like they did with Bash at the Beach, remains to be seen.
