Chapman on fire as Indigenous All Stars romp to victory over Maori

on

Indigenous All Stars centre Jaime Chapman crossed twice as the home side romped to victory over New Zealand Maori at Townsville on Friday night.

The Gold Coast speedster was too much for the Maori to handle out wide as the Indigenous side converted a 22-0 half-time lead into a 26-4 triumph.

Kimberley Hunt also touched down twice as the Indigenous side led from start to finish.

Shaylee Bent opened the scoring after sustained pressure in the 14th minute before Chapman touched down for the first time a short time later.

Hunt joined in on the action midway through the first half and when Chapman added her second just before the break, the result was as good as over.

Maori winger Jasmin Strange cut the deficit to 18 when she made her way over the line in the 48th minute before Hunt ensured the Indigenous side would be cheering at full-time with her second try just before the final siren.
